RightBrains Tech Talks
28 October 2021
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm CET
RightBrains is hosting a series of Tech Talks with industry experts from leading organisations and universities, every last Thursday of the month (5 pm – 6 pm). Join the Tech Talk on 28 October with our special guests Frauke Wessel, former IT Director at AVR and experienced leader in IT outsourcing and procurement, and Marco Gianotten, founder of Giarte, author, speaker and expert in outsourcing governance. Frauke is passionate about orchestrating the supplier landscape with all stakeholders aligned to a common goal. Marco’s drive is to help CIOs to be real leaders.
With the Tech Talks we aim to promote learning, inspire discussions, and boost your digital career. At RightBrains we believe that continuous learning is the key to keeping up with latest technology trends and staying ahead of the competition. On our Slack channel we will continue the conversation and learn from each other.
Macho Bulshit in Tech
Technology is the modern male myth. Men laid claims to technology as their exclusive terrain. The outcome of all that macho behaviour? Too much jargon, complexity, and fear. Modern tech requires both masculine and feminine traits. Collaboration, patience, intuition, selflessness, loyalty and reasonable, are essential ‘feminine’ leadership attributes to succeed in today's digital world. During this Tech Talk Frauke Wessel and Marco Gianotten, two subject-matter experts in digital leadership, will explain and debate the way forward.
