Transforming digital learners into digital leaders

Recognising that tomorrow’s digital leaders are today’s digital learners, the Digital Leadership Programme offers an intensive, invaluable educational experience for women with digital leadership ambitions. The programme targets talented women with several years of management experience in an industry that utilises digital technology.

This digital leadership course aims to increase the number of women in digital leadership positions – and thus serves a fundamental social and economic purpose. Women are historically underrepresented in digital leadership roles, and this programme seeks to provide them with the knowledge and skills that they need to succeed as digital leaders today.

The Digital Leadership Programme is in its 11th year and more than 135 women have successfully completed the programme. Prominent lecturers teach the modules from renowned universities in the Netherlands. The themes of the modules are 1) Embracing the new age of competition; 2) Strategic response to technological change; and 3) Digital transformation in execution.

Programme schedule and costs

On average, participants spend two days per month on the programme. The total cost of the full programme is €7,950. Participants who follow all three modules of the programme will receive a certification of completion on the last day of the programme. All costs are excluding VAT and accommodation.

You can follow module 1 stand-alone. The cost is €2,950. You can also follow module 1 plus the first two days of module 2 about strategy and leadership. The cost is €4,500. Following module 2 and 3 together is another option. The cost for these two modules is €5,650. 

The eleventh edition of the Digital Leadership Programme will start in October 2025. The planned dates are (to be confirmed):

Module 1: 14 & 15 October 2025; and 12 & 13 November 2025.
Module 2: 16 & 17 December 2025; and 14 & 15 January 2026.
Module 3: 10 & 11 February 2026; and 11 & 12 March 2026.

Module 1: Embracing the new age of competition

This module is designed to empower female leaders to harness transformative technologies for strategic advantage in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. This comprehensive first part of the programme focuses on critical areas essential for success in digital technology and equips the participants with the insights and skills necessary to thrive.

Experience how to create an organisation with the right leadership, people and processes in place. Build transformational strategies by working with wicked problems, learn about the characteristics of inclusive leadership and self-evaluation, and get ready to make strategic innovation choices and redesign business processes.

Module 3: Digital transformation in execution

Create innovation by using a design thinking mindset and understand your strengths and development points as a change agent. You will learn how to manage the growing complexity within organisations and build transformational assets for the indivuals. At the end of this module you are equiped to implement innovation and organisational change successfully.
