• Reduced predictability and effective oversight.

• Full accountability retained by institutions, regardless of system autonomy.

Taken together, these positions indicate a change in how AI systems are being assessed; from evaluating models in isolation to examining how systems behave in production environments. At the same time, while expectations are becoming clearer, practical guidance on how to operationalise control remains limited.
