RightBrains introduces new leadership team for next phase of growth
RightBrains is stepping into a new chapter with a refreshed leadership team that will guide the organisation forward as it continues its mission to grow the number of women in digital technology.
Founded in 2014 by Geke Rosier, RightBrains was created to bridge the gender gap in digital technology. Today, that mission remains firmly in place as leadership transitions to a new team with strong roots in data, technology, business and storytelling.
Robert Laman and Johan du Pisanie are joining the new management team. Both bring extensive experience in data, analytics and enterprise technology, alongside a shared belief that diversity, collaboration and education are essential to building future-ready organisations.
Laman, founder of consultancy Viewwave, has spent years helping organisations translate complex data and technology challenges into practical outcomes. At RightBrains, he focuses on strengthening commercial foundations and aligning programmes closely with real market needs.
Du Pisanie’s background spans statistics, data mining and risk management in the banking sector. His focus is on scaling RightBrains responsibly, building strong partnerships and ensuring that learning, inspiration and collaboration lead to tangible impact.
Another addition to the team is Maryna Russel, who will focus on strengthening partner relationships, aligning learning programmes with real market needs, and ensuring that commercial strategy, technology insight, and human connection work together.
The leadership team is completed by Carine du Pisanie, Director of Marketing and Operations. With a background in advertising, education and digital communications, she leads operations, strategic marketing and partner engagement. She also plays a key role in the RightBrains Academy and is editor of DIGIDIVA Magazine, where she amplifies the voices and stories shaping the digital future.
Geke Rosier remains connected to RightBrains as founder, supporting strategy and partnerships.
Together, the leadership team is focused on continuity and growth: strengthening the RightBrains community, expanding high-quality learning initiatives and supporting organisations with access to diverse, future-facing digital talent.
RightBrains continues to operate at the intersection of talent, technology and transformation — building pathways that turn inspiration into skills and ambition into impact.
