Johan du Pisanie: Where training, consultancy and purpose collide
Friday, January 30, 2026
I believe organisations perform better when they reflect the diversity of the world they serve — and that digital technology needs broader perspectives and strategic collaboration to reach its full potential.
My academic background is in Statistics, Data Mining, and Business Mathematics and I’ve worked extensively in risk and data in the banking sector. But this background is just the prologue of my bigger entrepreneurial story. Together with Robert Laman, we are building a network where training, consultancy and purpose collide, with presences in both South Africa and the Netherlands. Our interest in RightBrains comes from a personal connection, but is also rooted in the belief that education, inspiration and collaboration can be a powerful catalyst towards collective progress. And with this came the opportunity to aid in the continuation of a trusted provider and supporter of women in digital technology – the ultimate honour for a male ally from the wider industry.
My role is to help scale RightBrains responsibly: building strong partnerships, supporting high-quality learning initiatives, and ensuring that impact and commercial viability go hand in hand.
RightBrains operates at the intersection of talent, technology, and transformation. For our partners, that means access to a growing pool of motivated, skilled women, developed through programmes that respond to real market needs. For our community, it means continuity, credibility, and a clear path forward.
Because meaningful change in digital technology requires both vision and execution.
